What forms of payment are accepted for renting a car in Australia?

A valid plastic credit card or Visa or Mastercard debit card must be provided for all rentals with the hirers - currently we accept all Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and Diners cards. The credit card holder is listed as the hirer and must be present at the time of rental commencement. Cash is not accepted for any payments or bond.

A credit card fee of 0.80% applies and is applicable to all rental charges (excluding pre-authorisation) including any optional items purchased and damage liability charges. There is no refund of credit card surcharges.
