In most of our Locations we require a $500 bond(up to $1,000 for local and 1st time renters). We also require a 2nd form of ID with proof of your address.
As our fleet changes regularly we are unable to guarantee that a specific model of car will be available at any particular time. We ensure that you will never be disadvantaged by ensuring that if this occurs we offer you a car of similar size and features to the one you are currently driving.
Our fleet is updated regularly, Our cars are a maximum of 12 months old and will often be new.
You must be at least 21 years old and have held your Drivers licence for at least one year. If you are under the age of 25 A young drivers fee of $329/month will apply to your rental. This works out to less than $11/day.
It must be the person who rents the car or is an authorised additional driver list on the mini-lease contract.
If you exceed the kilometre limit on your rental contract we will charge a fee of $0.5/kilometre +GST
The kilometre limits are a maximum amount of kilometres allowed before excess charges apply. Should you drive less than your allowance we do not provide any refunds.
Contact our team to advise of your new return date and we will amend your contract. As your agreement Is issued on a monthly basis we do not refund for early return prior to the end of the month however at the end of the month you can finalise your rental with one day’s notice.
At the end of each month you are free to change your car, simply contact us so we can arrange that for you. Should you wish to go into a larger or smaller vehicle than the one you are currently in the price would simply be adjusted to the rate for your new vehicle. If you just want to try out a different model of car in the same class the price would stay the same.
As we hold your deposit as a pre-authorisation, on return of the vehicle the authorisation is released and voided. Generally you will see the amount back in your account within 10 business days, however in some circumstances it may take longer. We are unable to speed up the voiding of the preauthorisation. If you experience any issues it is best to contact your bank directly.
You will need your current Drivers Licence (Digital Licences are not accepted at this time), A recent utility bill so that we can verify your address and a Debit or Credit Card to pay for your hire. We are unable to accept Cash, Prepaid Credit Cards or EFTPOS cards.
Unfortunately our vehicles are unable to be used to drive for rideshare services at this point in time.
Yes. So long as you have your Emerald Club number and provide it to a member of our team, we will attach it to your booking so you are able to benefit from both programs.
